SC Research Center Gets $2M Loan from Jobs Trust

A South Charleston research center is getting a $2 million loan from the West Virginia Jobs Investment Trust.
State officials said Friday the loan will support science, technology and engineering research at the Mid-Atlantic Technology, Research and Innovation Center (MATRIC).
Gov. Joe Manchin said such research is critical for West Virginia to compete on a global level.
