MATRIC Hosts National Youth Science Camp Delegates
Group includes top two science students from each state
The Mid-Atlantic Technology Research and Innovation Center (MATRIC) was pleased to host National Youth Science Camp delegates at its South Charleston corporate headquarters on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.
This select group of delegates is comprised of the top two science students from each state as well as international students from five countries. The delegates' visit at MATRIC is the beginning of a four week quest for knowledge of science disciplines.
MATRIC provided a variety of chemistry-based lab demonstrations including “Water Treatment Technologies,” “Biodiesel Preparation,” and “Advanced Impact Resistant Polymers.” Visiting the MATRIC research community provides the delegates an opportunity to witness first-hand the passion and commitment we have for science and the development of new technologies.
