Dr. Frank Ma has a strong record of new product commercialization during a 24-year career with Union Carbide and Dow Chemical. In this role, he performed application research based on market needs and customer requests, generated joint R&D projects and relationships with a number of strategic customers, sponsored academic research and gave technical seminars to universities and research institutes, and served as a liaison with government specification boards on chemical products. He was also responsible for production support of certain prouct lines. Among the products he helped develop and commercialize are wood treating systems and anti-icing/de-icing fluids. In MATRIC, Dr. Ma has developed a new family of products for the coal mining and transportation industry which has now been commercialized by our client. Dr. Ma received a BS in Chemistry from the College of St. Thomas, a PhD in Bioinorganic Chemistry from Iowa State University, and an Executive Management Diploma from McGill University.
