In his 35-year career with Union Carbide Corporation, Dr. Charles Moyers supported Engineering and R&D functions in a variety of assignments, primarily in chemical process design with the Central Engineering Department, and in new product development and separation/process fundamentals in the R&D Department. For 20 years he served as Manager of the Solids Processing Technology Group. Dr. Moyers is widely recognized as an expert in operations including solution and melt crystallization, drying, and liquid/solid separation. He is currently supporting several MATRIC projects involving solids processing, crystallization, and separations. Dr. Moyers is a Fellow of American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He received a BS from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, an MS from West Virginia University, and a PhD from the University of Delaware, all in Chemical Engineering.
