Mr. Jim Withrow has extensive experience in all areas of solid processing, including handling, drying, crystallization and solid-liquid separation, having worked in this area with Union Carbide for more than 25 years. He provided design, testing and consulting services to all divisions of the company, specializing in solid-liquid separation and solid-handling systems. He served as supervisor of the Solid Processing Technology Laboratories to provide testing services in support of the solid-liquid separation and solid-handling areas. He also performed and supervised performance of laboratory and/or pilot-scale tests to obtain scaleup data to size filters and centrifuges for production facilities. Mr. Withrow is currently supporting MATRIC's development work on a new product. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University.
