Dr. Jonathan Kurland has broad expertise in research, process development, process safety technology, and atmospheric science. He has extensive experience in oxidation and free-radical chemistry including the inhibition of polymerization, liquid-phase autoxidations of hydrocarbons and aldehydes, the hazards of peroxide-forming compounds, and the ozone-forming potential of VOC. Kurland has over thirty years of experience in R&D in Union Carbide and Dow Chemical. He received a BA in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and MS and PhD degrees in Chemistry from Harvard University.
