Major Buildings

General Description

The Technology Park includes more than 25 occupied buildings in a campus-like setting on 125 acres of developed land. These buildings provide over 600,000 square feet of office and laboratory space, including more than 250 laboratories.

The major buildings on the site are Building 740, Building 770, Building 2000 and Building 6000. Details on the size and characteristics of each of these buildings are presented on separate pages.

Other buildings on the site not described here are occupied by Bayer Material Science.

The park offers support services, including Security, Emergency Response, and site infrastructure and maintenance support.

Pilot Plant Facilities

Located within the Technology Park are a number of buildings and structures useful for pilot-scale chemical operations. These assets are currently owned by Union Carbide Corporation, a subsidiary of Dow Chemical, and it is possible that they could be made available to other organizations for use.
